News › An afternoon of music at the village's annual summer event
A big thank you to the Affetside Society and everyone behind the annual boules and bake off - we had a wonderful time playing our ukuleles and singing for you!
A Village Tradition
Affetside, the little village on the old Roman road just west of Bury, has held its boules competition on the Millennium Green for well over a decade - a proper fixture of the village calendar, complete with a fiercely contested bake off. The local press has called the boules "firmly established as an international event" in years gone by, with past champions travelling from as far as Australia.
Bringing live music to events like this is exactly what we're about: community, cake, and a bit of friendly competition. If you'd like us to play at your community event, get in touch at hSulGBARj8QwUON3jRQtR2F-Ef8AKTJv4rc.
