News › New Monday morning sessions launched at Greenmount Old School
Our Greenmount group is up and running! After announcing a free taster session in May, our weekly Monday morning Sing & Strum sessions kicked off at Greenmount Old School on Monday 3rd June - and the first morning was most excellent.
A particular treat for our founder Ben: playing ukulele alongside one of his old teachers from school. Proof, if it were needed, that it's never too late to pick up a new instrument.
The Venue
Greenmount Old School on Brandlesholme Road is a community centre run by Greenmount Village Community, hosting local groups most days of the week - and now it hosts us too, every Monday morning. There's parking on site and it's an easy trip from Bury, Tottington and Ramsbottom.
