News › Tuesday Sing & Strum sessions begin at Ramsbottom Library and The Den
This week we launched our very first Sing & Strum sessions - two Tuesday groups in Ramsbottom, run by professional musicians and open to absolutely everyone.
Where and When
Ramsbottom Library, Carr Street Tuesdays, 10:30am-12pm - £8 per person
The Den, Stubbins Vale Road (with Rammy Men) Tuesdays, 5:30pm-7pm - £6 per person
No musical experience is necessary, sessions are inclusive of all abilities, and if you don't own a ukulele you can hire one of ours for the session for an additional £2 - just let us know in advance.
A Home at The Den
Our evening sessions are hosted at The Den, the community space run by Rammy Men at Stubbins Vale Mill. Rammy Men was set up to support men's mental health in Ramsbottom and Bury after the town lost local men to suicide, and it has grown into a community organisation involving hundreds of people in activities every week. We're proud to be part of that programme - you can read about their work and their other activities, from Thai Chi to walking groups, on their website.
