Bury town centre has its own Sing & Strum session! We announced the new Thursday group in July, threw open the doors of Wyldes on Bolton Street for a free opening night on Thursday 25th July - and it was, in chord-notation terms, most exc'llent.
Opening Night
The room was a proper mix: people who had never held a ukulele before sitting alongside professional musicians, everyone singing together with focus points on ukulele practice and technique. That blend is exactly what makes the sessions work.
The Venue
Wyldes is a cosy Joseph Holt pub in the historic part of Bury town centre - a former bank building, three floors of bar and lounge, a short walk from the Metrolink stop and across the road from The Met. Free parking nearby after 6pm.
