News › A morning session with the Genesis Project community
We spent the morning making music with the wonderful people at the Genesis Project and Urban Outreach Bolton - thank you for being so welcoming and for making music with us!
Who They Are
Urban Outreach Bolton is a Christian charity established in 1990, providing food for households in crisis and person-centred support for some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable adults and young people in Bolton. The Genesis Project is their community initiative, based at the Amber Centre in the former Central Baptist Church building, built around growing, making and doing things together.
Music belongs in spaces like that. Group music-making asks nothing of you except showing up - everyone strums, everyone sings, nobody is on the spot.
